10 things you should know about me:
1. I am a Christian, but I am far from perfect, we all fall short of God’s Glory… But I try everyday to make him proud of me.
2. I am Happily Married to the love of my life, he is an amazing man of God, and I have been blessed to have him a part of my life. He is a wonderful father, and loving husband. Living a year with him away, was one of the most challenging and character building experiences of my life. We are all happy to have him home!
3. I am the mother of 4 wonderful children, and step mom to 1. It is my life’s mission to raise my children to trust God and let him lead their life. As well as outstanding citizens of their community.
4. I am a Photographer. I have a passion for photography that started when my Grandparents gave me that lil pink 110 film camera.
5. I am a Blockhead… If you don’t know what that is, It’s a New Kids on the Block Fan. I have been a fan since I was 11 years old, and was super stoked when the announced the reunion album and tour. Seeing them in concert again after all these years, and meeting them this past year were memories I will cherish forever!
6. I am a a gadget freak, I love gadgets of all sorts. I have always been a bit of a techy and would dismantle things to figure out how they worked as a child. I am pretty sure I drove my parents nuts doing this! If its a tech gadget I probably want it LOL
7. I have a large family, aside from my fairly large Immediate family, I also have 3 Sisters and 4 brothers. Some I have not seen for a very long time, and I miss them dearly, but they are never far from my thoughts!
8. I am stubborn, if you know me and are reading this, I am sure you are thinking that is quite obvious! Sometimes my stubbornness is a good thing, sometimes it is a bad thing. I am working on it, and that is all I can do.
9. I am a reality TV junkie, you name it I have probably watched it at least once! My faves are Survivor, The Amazing Race, and VH1′s very cheesy celeb reality shows!
10. I am honest… One thing I am not is a liar or a fake. I tell it how it is, and I expect people to be honest with me as well. You will never catch me in a lie because well I just cannot lie… ask my husband he will tell you LOL

Hi, I ran across your site of all things when I was researching the Mitranoff procedure your son had done. I have SB myself, I’m 39, and I currently have the old style urostomy that they used to do “back in the day”.
I am investigating the procedures your son had. They sound like a lot to go thru but overall promising. I’d love it if when you have the time, you’d email me back and tell me more or how you feel all these many months later, if you still are glad you had it done for Tristan.
