Chance of a Lifetime

I have won an amazing opportunity! The Chance to be in Joey Mcintyre’s new music video!… There is one small catch though… I have to get myself to LA by Wednesday! Not the most practical thing for us since hubby’s car just broke down … However I had a few people offer to help so I would not miss out on this chance! So I am posting a donation button to paypal, if I raise the funds it will allow me the trip of a lifetime (I mean how many people get to say they were in a music video??) Some days should be blogged about…

This morning I awoke to my husband saying, “Honey I need to take your car, mine won’t even make it up the street”… To which i reply ” You can’t take my car, I NEED my car today!”… Let me just say 5 something in the morning, when you have been awaken by your husband who is frantic is not the time to argue. We spent the next 10 minutes arguing over what we were going to do. Life has become so busy for us lately, which is why there has been very little blogging action. The kids are busy with their activities, I am in school full-time, hubby is working overtime as well as going to school full-time himself! Each day this week I have been at the doctor, Monday for myself, nothing serious, Tues, Weds for sick kids, and Today was supposed to be a Urology follow up for Tristan. I finally conceded that I would reschedule his appointment and hubby was to just leave. Ten minutes later he texts me, “what time do i need to be home so you can make it to Tristan’s appointment” to which I reply, dont worry about it I said I would reschedule… Which then required yet another phone argument about the broken car…. See the underlying problem here is, the car has been having issues for months, and I kept saying it was going to break down, and hubby kept telling me it would make it till we could get it serviced! HMMM I think it did not make it! So now we are stuck with one car, and super busy schedules that require us to be in 5 places at once… ok maybe not 5, but it sure seems like it at times. Especially with hubby working overtime, and us both in school!

Today I have spent freaking out trying to figure out how I am going to get to class tonight while the children get to and from all their activities as well. I am sure ultimately it will all work out, but it sure makes for a stressful morning! Hopefully his van can be easily, quickly, and cheaply repaired! Either way my weekend will most likely be spent at home since he has drill and will need to take my vehicle! Bummer!

Blog Slacker

Yea I know I am a blog slacker… Honestly have not been around much anywhere. Thankfully the fog I have been living under is beginning to lift.

Tristan had a follow up appointment from his Mace Stoma revision today, he seems to be doing ok. The doc is always really positive, and occasionally I think he has too much faith in me! LOL

Christmas shopping is nearly complete, I have totally spoiled the kids this year, and feel no remorse… after all I am stimulating the economy right?? LOL

I have this problem…

I am addicted to New Kids on the Block!! Ok this is nothing new, the flame has always been there, but the reunion has reignited the fire!!! So I am counting down to the concert on Nov. 10th in STL and I thought it would be fun to make a blog post each day! And of course it will be dedicated to New Kids…

Apologies…

I forgot to update here after Tristan’s CT, All appears to be well. His ventricles were larger, but there was a shunt adjustment after the last CT and that could be why. We are in wait and see mode. So far he has not been continuing to complain about the headaches.

My favorite past time… NOT

We are off to Children’s yet again… I so love it there   I will update as soon as I know something! CT is at 11:30am, then we will go see the doc or PA depending on what’s up. Hopefully we won’t be gone all day!
